John is a preacher, hymnwriter, composer, lecturer and broadcaster.
John is a Resource Worker with The Iona Community, who lectures, preaches and conducts seminars across the denominations around the world. He is a hymn writer, author and occasional broadcaster, but retains a primary passion for congregational song. John is based in Glasgow and works with his colleagues in the areas of music, worship and spirituality. He is a founding member of the Wild Goose group.

Poet and theologian, Pádraig’s work centres around themes of language, power, conflict and religion. Pádraig is a skilled speaker, teacher and group worker. His work has won acclaim in circles of poetry, politics, religion, psychotherapy and conflict analysis. His work has been featured widely on BBC, RTÉ, and other national broadcasters in the USA and Australia. With his partner Paul, he began the Tenx9 storytelling event and he presents Poetry Unbound from the On Being Studios. Betwenn 2014-2019, he led the Corrymeela Community, Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation organisation. Pádraig lives in Ireland.

Kate Monkhouse has over 20 years’ experience working with faith-based and community organisations in civic engagement and social inclusion. She is currently the Executive Coordinator for Creators of Peace global women’s programme. Kate roots her training in conflict transformation within her own practice of Ignatian spirituality. She is an RSA Fellow, helps run Two23 and is a trustee at City Gateway.

Richard, is Associate Vicar for Mission at St Martin’s in the Fields. For many years he was a member of the Melanesian Brotherhood in the Solomon Islands, where silence was a daily part of the spiritual life of the community. At St Martin’s he coordinates the International Group working with those with no recourse to public funds and works closely with The Connection, London’s busiest homelessness charity, and is the founder and leader of the Nazareth Community, which aims to build a practice of silence and service into daily life. His book, The City is My Monastery, offers spiritual wisdom for daily life rooted in the Nazareth Community’s seven guiding principles: Silence, Service, Scripture, Sacrament, Sharing, Sabbath Time and Staying.

Sophie has artwork in public and private collections across the UK and abroad. Her current projects focus on stained glass, collaborations with musicians and poets and numerous ecclesiastical commissions.
She leads creative workshops with a particular emphasis on unlocking personal creativity. Sophie is a trustee of Art and Christianity, a visiting scholar at Sarum College and is Arts and Exhibition consultant at Winchester Cathedral.
